Day -6 Tippy- This is our family cat Tippy, a feral cat found as a very small kitten. If you find a feral cat, I learned it is like bringing home a raccoon as a pet. Do you think its going to be cuddly? Not likely…. Once we got another cat, Tippy started being more of a pet, and will actually now cuddle sometimes. He can even be a big love bug! We certainly don’t miss the days of him stalking us throughout the house. So here is Tippy on his perch, looking out his favorite window.
This is a series I am painting of a pair of wellies in different seasons. Here they are near the fall harvest of sunflowers and pumpkins. This is one to go with the upcoming fall season, a small canvas with a polka dot bow…..you know me and polka dots!
Here it is! If you are living in my house, its the dreaded painting challenge! lol! That time of year where I post and create a painting daily. Here is my first painting, Jose. A rescued circus lion from South America, Jose is now living happily in sanctuary in Africa. Jose is one of the "33" . 33 lions rescued, by chartering a plane, and then trailer trucks to bring them to safety. While living a circus life, these poor animals had teeth and claws removed, and other atrocities. One even lost an eye. There is a video of them arriving in their traveling boxes, that is very moving, you can hear them talking. They now live happily at the Emoya Big Cat Sanctuary, where this painting is hopefully going. To learn more about these animals and even donate (I have) to their continuing upkeep, please visit this link: http://33lions.org/
