Demure Castle
This painting was inspired by a photo I took a few years ago. It was taken later in the day, a time that is referred to as the "Golden hour"
Where the sun paints everything in its path with a golden glow. Here the top part of the castle is in the suns path, where the rest is in shadow. There is a softness to everything, giving it a dreamy look. One of the tougher paintings that I have done, as it was not easy to capture the peacefulness of the scene. But I think I finally did....
This painting is finished with a varnish, to bring out the colors, and hand embellished with glitter on the castle spires.

Painting is a larger one. It is 30” wide by 40” Tall. Unframed, but sides are painted, and frame is not necessary.
