This is an oil painting of a branch of lilacs in my Grandmother's vintage canning jar. This sprig of lilacs is from a bush in my yard that is finally starting to bloom!
The fragrance from them is just so wonderful! If you have had lilacs in your home, you know the fragrance is heavenly! So here is a reminder of them, and the promise of spring. Because after they bloom the weather begins to warm. My favorite time of year!
