Paperback Book, The Watering Can
This book was inspired when my new granddaughter picked up my daughter's old watering can in my garage.
I am the mother of two older children, one that is 23, and one graduating from high school soon. So my empty nest is imminent, and I am feeling it.
So when my granddaughter picked up that watering can, I had an epiphany. Of how life goes on. And to be grateful for the time we have with our children, and then our grandchildren.
I wrote this book and illustrated it myself. I think this book has many purposes. Besides being pleasing to look at, I am hoping it is also comforting to those with older children. And to younger children, it shows different flower types. So children learn about flowers, and adults are comforted by how the torch is taken up by the next generation.
