Homestead Summer
This painting was inspired by the beautiful homestead in the ride The Land, at Epcot. I had taken a pic of it the last time I was there, and here is a painting inspired by that pic. I will also be doing three more paintings, for each season of the homestead. This is the summer version. The sun is rising on the lovely family farm, where the family is sleeping, but about to be woken by their dependable alarm clock, the rooster. I loved how the sunlight touches everything on one side of the painting, while the other side is touched by moonlight.
Colors may look differently between scanning and computers, but every care has been taken to portray painting correctly.
Painting is 16" x 20" on canvas, about 3/4' thick, and has a light varnish over painting.
