Is it a summons or a visit to look forward to? Who knows? But either way this car is headed into the incredible Breakers Estate in Newport RI. I am imagining that it is someone looking forward to a visit, perhaps afternoon tea, on the beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. This "Cottage" is an incredible place to visit, nevermind living here for the summer. I am so thankful that these "cottages" by the sea were saved and are open for us to visit and imagine days gone by.
Colors may look differently between scanning and computers, but every care has been taken to portray painting correctly.
Painting is 16" x 20" on canvas, unframed, about 3/4' thick, and has a light varnish over painting.
